Scheurwater Marine Survey (SMS) is an independent marine and cargo survey company, established on January 1st 2020 by Ron Scheurwater, who has been a Marine and Cargo Surveyor since 2014. SMS is very professional and experienced in bunkering and Cargo Survey. SMS is an accurate marine surveyey company working independently and completely dedicated in exclusive representation to protect the interests of clients and companies. SMS provides services in the whole of ARA range (Amsterdam, Rotterdam & Antwerp) and beyond.
As an independent surveyor, my main goal is to maintain a continuity of the client interests. With many years of experience in surveying within Europe. Before this, I served as an Officer on Foreign Going Vessels. Abreast of the latest developments in the maritime sector I keep myself up to date by following courses, in order to protect my clients interest as best as possible.

Bunker Quantity Surveys (BQS) are carried out only for receiving parties (Owners, Charterers, Brokers, etc.) to measure and ascertain the quantity of Bunker on board at the specific time.
